Putting a form inside a module

Is it possible to use a chrono form inside a module? Can someone shed some light on how to go about this?

thanks!

Hi alittle116,

Not at present though it's on Max's to-do list for a future release.

What about putting the form inside a content item using the bot - then publishing the content item to a module using the amazing (imo) extension found here.

I use this extension all the time... I did a quick test and it seems to work...

could be a great solution to this little dilema!🙂

Can you expand on this? I have installed this extension. But what do you mean "using the bot"... thanks!

Hi alittle116,

The ChronoForms mambot allows you to put a ChronoForms form into a normal content page. You need to install and publish the mambot, then you can put {chronocontact}formname{/chronocontact} in your content page and the mambot will replace this with the form code.

I haven't tested yet but Rod says that this you can then put this content into a module by using the Content Item module.

thank you it is working now and it works with content module extension.

i would consider making that information about the mambot more prominent in your documentation.

thanks!

Hi alittle116,

I've added a couple more FAQs and extended the text on the mambot download page.

I'll maybe add a tutorial later.

Thanks

Bob
