turn email verification off

Hi,

I have set it up with the following:

Send Verification Emails ? Disabled.
But its requiring a valid email.

Does the user HAVE to put a valid email in ? We don't want them to have to...

did i miss something?

Hi, unfortunately you can't do this with the current version, version 1.2 is ready and with it you will be able to remove the whole email field, its not released yet though because I'm adding some function to allow backup and restore of comments for easy upgrading!
