Saving CF 8 forms takes too long

It seems there is an issue with saving multi-page forms in CF 8.The saving process takes so long that the browser prompts to stop the operation because it is taking too much time. This can even lead to a complete crash of the form and its subpages.Attached is the form—or rather, what remains of it. Perhaps the developer can examine it and identify the underlying problem.I had to restore from a backup, but even so, the form still takes far too long to save. What is the problem?

Best regards,F.

The form is already broken, please try to disable the Increase Max Fields setting in the ChronoForms8 settings page, does this make the form save quickly ?

That setting will do some pre save processing in order to bypass the server's limit on fields, but this processing may affect your browser if your system has low memory for any reason.

How many pages and views/actions did your form have ? you can find a statistics at forms manager

Hi,

In the settings, "Increase max fields": Yes is selected.

The form is spread across 14 pages. Each page has a Page Group name (identical to the Page Name).

The pages contain a lot of read data. For example, one page has 17 read data entries and 7 PHP actions.

Some pages also have actions in the submit areas.

I can gladly send you a backup of the working form. However, I don't want to publish it here. Alternatively, you can also check out how it works on the live site (backend and frontend) if you'd like.

I don't want to change the "Increase max fields": Yes setting to No because that setting affects all existing form pages. And the other forms are working correctly.

Thank you for your help.
