The Chrono website seems to be missing a lot of basic information. Is there a guide somewhere that covers the system, (not "How To" create this type for that type of form)?
Example: I am trying to create two forms, My first attempt to see if this will meet my needs.
I have dragged a header over from the right site, entered appropriate info in the fields, but how do I save it so I can proceed to adding more fields? There is an area at the top right (of the box created by the dragging operation.) with four Icons, a wrench, two triangles, another that I do not know how to describe characterize and an "X". The X, the Wrench and the Triangles I have figured out, but I do non know what the other is for and the it displays no info when I hover the mouse over it. Do I just have to save the whole form each time I add or change a field?
What is the difference between Save and Quick Save on the whole form?
A guide to each of the items on the right under actions and views. Some are obvious (I Think), and others not so much. A couple of sentences about each would be extremely helpful.
Some guide on using data from other tables would be helpful (at least to me).
I have a table with approx 40,000 rows that I need to use. I need to display data selectively from some of the rows, (one record or row at a time, possibly display a list of selected rows) and obtain the index id of the row in the non-chrono table. I need to save that index id with data form that I am creating. The form I am creating needs to also obtain data from a couple of fields in the external table. I do not need to write to the non-chrono table at all but I do need to save entries made through chrono forms to a separate chrono table. In other words, basic relational CRUD operations.
I have seen all the videos I can find on YouTube but they all are dreadfully outdated. The newest I found was 10 years old and none cover the info I need.

The guide should clarify how the interface works then you can find information in hints below fields or here on the forums or in the FAQs section, you can also post questions about specific features.

Yes, Choronoforms 8 and yes I have read the Getting started FAQ multiple times as well as others that I thought might have appropriate information for what I am trying to do. Most of the quandaries that I have relate to using existing tables and creating and using forms based on the existing table.
I tried creating a simple list from a table, but when trying to preview it, I get an error "Unknown named parameter $Class" I have no idea where this comes from. I do not have a column or row called $Class, I cannot find a place in the form with that name, so I have to assume that it is something in CF8 that I am overlooking, perhaps a required field that is not indicated as a required field?
I have looked at and evaluated several forms and application builders that I thought would fit my needs and Chronoforms sees like it is robust and flexible enough and has features that would meet my needs. I just cannot get things to work.

The $class error is most probably caused by installing another Chrono extension which does not have the latest update of the shared library, please download and install the latest ChronoForms8 update OVER yours (do NOT uninstall) and that should fix this error.

Still have problems: rather than screen shots, I created a 2 minute video screen recording (with a few edits) to show you what issue I am having. Even as a zip it exceeds your upload limit. I have placed it on another site and made it shareable. the link is in an attached text file.
Also, I am getting this message on the CF Dashboard: "ChronoForms 8 Premium, expires 26 Nov 2025, 19:11" I thought I had a 30 day trial. Everything is on localhost anyway.
I have made some progress, but still have questions.
If showing you where I am having trouble via the video that I put in my cloud storage makes sense, I can make another one illustrating the current problem. The tutorial I was using seems to be missing some basic info, some of which I have managed to figure out and some which I have not.
Made progress, realized the link that I gave you was a pain so I did something different.
Made another video, can be viewed or downloaded without password or need to log in.

As you have already solved the first issue with the page, I will address the 2nd issue, you have added quotes around the parameters in the Link Parameters behavior, that breaks the link to the 2nd page, if you remove the quote then it should work fine.

I think you have validated using the Trial button first which gave you 10 days, now you need to validate using your key again after adding your domain.
