Hi Max,
Could you please have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjtT0oYG6p4
When I'm going back and forth between pages in this form, I regularly get the session token error and am redirected to the first page of the form. Might this be a bug?
I'm not having this issue with any of my other forms, even though some of the other forms are very similar to this one. The difference is, however, that other forms are only available for registered Joomla users, while this one is publicly visible for everyone. Because of this it also has a Honeypot security on the first page.
Let me know if you need more information for further investigation.
Best regards,
Bart
Hi Bart
Apologizes for the late reply
Is the form inside an article ? it may be caching issue
Hi Max, Yes, it is inside an article. But I've disabled caching in the global settings.
Hi Max,
Additionally I wanted to show you this bug (see attachments), I think it is related.

Hi Bart
if you remove the Honeypot or if you are logged in, which problems stop occurring ?
Hi Max,
- Both issues still occur after removing the Honeypot.
- Both issues stop occurring once logged in. However, the form is not 100% identical because for logged in users I use their account data instead of having them fill out all information. But I've tested by going back and forth multiple times between multiple pages of the form and no errors are shown.
After I removed the Honeypot I tested again and the issues still occurred. Next I tried testing it in an incognito browser window to be sure all session data would be cleared. However, when I opened the URL in the new incognito browser window, all data was already filled out. Then I loaded the URL in Firefox and even there in a completely different browser the form was prefilled. That seems also strange to me?
Hi Max, Additional question: What does this Honeypot do exactly? I thought it would add a hidden field that shouldn't be filled out (but robots would do so).
But I can't find this field on the page?
Hi Max,
Both issues now seem solved. I forgot that there is not only a system cache, but also a page cache (system plugin) that I now disabled. I also updated to the new Chronoforms version, so not entirely sure which one exactly solved the issues. But I make regular updates to the website content so the page cache can be disabled anyway.
About the honeypot, this is also solved, now I see the hidden field.
Thanks for your work!
Bart
Hi Bart
Great news, thank you for the confirmation! :)
I have added a new setting to the form settings to disable the token check, did you change this in your form ? is it enabled or disabled ?
Hi Max, No I didn't change the setting, token check is still enabled.
