Show or hide a field on choice in dropdown CF8

Hello

This has been really confusing for me. I can't show or hide a checkbox, as per the choice in the next dropdown field. I have done it well in V6 but now that I have to make these forms again in V8 I cannot get things moving well.

I have a few checkboxes which should be normally hidden, and I have the names of these checkboxes in the next dropdown field. I want to show the check box of the name I select in the dropdown field.

Would someone be able to help me make this task easier? I pity that I have to make these forms again when I would have been doing something more fruitful rather than remaking forms on every new release of a Chronoform version.

Hi Ron,

Welcome back, first, you can import your v6 forms to v8, but the fields events will not be imported so you will need to redo that part, the following tutorial explains how:
