Hi,
my backend says that there is an update to chronoforms 7.0.10 when i click on it nothing happens.
When i go to https://www.chronoengine.com/downloads there is also only the Chronoforms 7.0.9 version to download.
Are there problems ? Are there more people who suffer from it?
Ron🙂
The same happens to me...
Regards!
I have the same problem. And what happened to the forum website? Is this all fake now?
@Fredolino the website chronoengine.com and the forum has hat an update.
My Validations also looks very different, it is clearer😉
I too have the issue and used the contact form on Chronoforms to find out why it did not update.
I was told:
"You can update using the Joomla updater or download the file on the downloads page and install over yours, the new update has the same version number but fixes the validation connection problem."
I also installed the module for CF-7 which I did not have.
Now my issue is that the update notice on the backend of Joomla stays there and does not go away even after manually updating.
Regards,
Donna
I can not validate and I am on 7.0.9 and can not upload to 7.10. I add my gloabal ID and it gives the error We could not connect to ChronoEngine
And if this update really exists and can be installed, it would be very good to know what improvements this update brings.
;-)
I have installed Chronoforms through web install and everything is okay! The version is still 7.0.9 probably there is no 7.10 version😉
At least I don't get an update notification anymore.
Perhaps the extension builder can inform us that there is no version 7.10 ?
Ron🙂
Cheers too quickly update notification comes back on screen and update via update package does not work either!
:(
Hi Everyone,
Apologies for the inconvenience with the validations, some issues appeared in the validation code on our side but all should be fixed now and your validations should work fine as before the site update!
And the update is just to force updating the code to fix the validation issue, no new features are included.
Best regards,
Max

I can install this update as many times as I want.
A day later my current Joomla 4 tells me again that there is an update of Chronoforms v7.
Update message remains
Too bad I can't get rid of that message
:)
Ours updates from 7.0.9 to 7.0.10 buy then immediately says there's an update available to 7.0.10 and installed version shows again as 7.0.9 - it appears that someone forgot to update the version number in the script after the update.
yes,
message: "No checksum found on the update server." after update
Hi guys
Joomla 4, System, Update site: disable Chronforms v7 update server, then rebuild the page.
This also is the same for Joomla 3.10.11 with PHP 7.4. The update message does not go away at all.
I'm planning to roll an update to fix this issue hopefully before next week!
I do not recommend you to disable the update server because you may miss important updates!

My clients are all telling me the forms are not working!!!!!! Please update it soon! It was isolated to Safari on iOS where "mail can not be instantiated" but not it happens on Android & Windows Chrome now.... After an update (even this false 7.0.9 to 7.0.10 update), the cache clears :database installed" and the form works again for a while......
The last update does not change any form features, so if the forms are not working then its a different reason, maybe form configuration or server configuration.
Usually the "Mail" issues are server related, can your Joomla site send emails using the "Test email" feature ?

Yes the Joomla Global Configuration Server Mailer PHP Mail works. The message: "The email was sent to x@abcdef.com using PHP Mail. You should check that you've received the test email." The forms (all of my new ones) worked on Chrome Windows / Android yet fail on anything Apple. I wasn't getting the error until last night on WIN10/Chrome - I disabled the form, updated Chronoforms 7 (not really) and clear cache in Chrono & Joomla. Then I copied the last known working copy (tested in production) and changed the name to match the shortcode on the homepage. Then when test it works on Safari Ipad/Iphone but when I sent a friend there using a Mac last night after I used lambdatest and confirmed the form worked and he reported that it failed. I think his browser's cache needed to be cleared and do not know if changing the form name entirely along with a new form's "shortcode" name for it might force a new form session? I wish we could discuss this privately where I could send more details... I have been around since 4.
Paul, I had a similar problem when I sent a link to someone. I discovered that when I copied the link the & in the link had been changed to & amp; (without the space) Check that that hasn't happened with your link.
