CF7 Form editor - Copy function icon disappears

ChronoForms copy function icon disappears in the form editor.

Overview

The copy icon for existing fields is disabled when a form is reopened for editing.
Update to the latest version of ChronoForms, where this issue has been fixed.

Hi,

building a form I use the copy function to duplicate parts of a form with same structure to save work.
It works a while but suddenly the green copy buttons disappear in parts or totally from the form and never come back.
Migth that be a bug?

no, the copy is disabled when the form is reopened for editing, you can copy new fields but not existing ones.

But this is not very user friendly if you have to extend your form with a lot of fields. If I remember it right, it was possible in CF6 to copy existing fields.

Maybe you can consider a change for the next update release.

I noticed that if the fields are in a grid and you update the areas, the copy icon is back
