User registration approved by admin

pranky 08 Mar, 2019
Hallo
In the v5 I had this activation process:
mail to the user with a link to confirm the registration
mail to the admin with a link to approve and activate the user.

I'm not so skilled so I 'd appreciate any help to do this in Chronoform6.
Also a step by step guide could be useful

thank you in advance

There's a User Registration demo. In the "activate" event, under user activation, set New Block Status to 1 and in the success block send an email to the admin.

Thank you healyhatman

I understand "New Block Status to 1" but I really do not know how set "in the success block send an email to the admin" 🙄

Thank you healyhatman

dont wanna abuse but..
I think I followed your advices, as admin I receive a mail but in chronoform5 in that mail there was a link to activate the user. (the link led to a website page wher I had just to login to activate the user, see the attached image)

In the one I receive in Chronoform6 there are just user data and no activation link

thank you in advance

That's a Joomla email you will have to I think use PHP to tell that one to send. You'll have to google that one

Just send an email exactly like that, with that link. itemid is the new user's ID
