allow editing only to the Owner but...

Hi and good Valentin's day,

I make a list where Owner is allowed to edit his data and modifiy it if he wants (by frontend). To protect the owner's data, other users are not allowed to edit but that prohibits to add a new entry. How authorized changes only to the owner while allowing to add a new entry ?

To allow new entries I usually add a link to the entry form in the Listing header - this can be open to all users, or limited by an Authenticator action in the form On Load event.
