Dynamic Reply to uses incorrect address

Hello,

I have an issue that is occurring with all the forms for which I use Chronoform. It is embarrassing that I have never noticed this before, but the reply to email address is incorrect.

When the recipient of the submitted form sends a reply it is sent to their own email address.
[list] I have the dynamic reply to email and dynamic from email set using the field name that holds the email address that is typed in the form by the sender. (This is the address it should go to.)[/list]
[list]The Joomla core email settings are left blank to make sure that this is not where the address is being pulled from.[/list]
[list]The default reply address in the chronoform setup is left blank since all my forms are set up using a dynamic reply address.[/list]

What is causing this issue? We simply want to get an email submission from our websites, hit the reply button and have it go to the correct email address. Any ideas?

Hi tjhaas,

I think that it is doing exactly what you have asked it to. You have the To Address set to the user's email and the Reply To Address set to the user's email. So when they click Reply To they see their own address.

PS I strongly recommend that you do *not* use the Dynamic From Email element in your Email Setups. Using this often results in your emails being marked as spam and dropped into a spam filter. Instead use the static From Email with an address that matches the site domain name and use Dynamic ReplyTo Email for the user email. The result is the same but with a much better chance of good delivery.
