Show file upload from ChronoForms with ChronoConectivity

ak613 23 Jun, 2015
Hi,

I've been struggling for the last few days to get a Chronoform with a file upload to work in conjunction with a display of those uploads and file names using ChronoConnectivity.

My ChronoForm worked fine until I deleted the DBsave and replaced it with the connection action. Now the file won't upload. For some reason, it creates an entry in the table that's linked to it but doesn't include the fields from my form!

I'm very confused as to how all this works; I've scoured the internet for answers and tutorials, but there is barely anything on CC5!! I found a few, but they didn't provide enough information to do anything except exactly what the tutorial was for, and none of them showed anything like what I'm trying to accomplish.

Are there other tutorials somewhere? Or just more information about how CC5 and CF5 work together? I've read documentation on the earlier versions, but that doesn't seem to help...

Thanks,
A K

Hi ak613,

I'm not sure what you are trying to do with the linkage to CC here. I don't think that the CC Save will support file uploads so the answer may be to remove the CC action and redirect back to the listing after the other uploads, emails, etc are complete.

Thanks Bob.

I took out the CC action and put in the DBsave and just made a CC connection on a separate page that displays all the data.

Is there detailed documentation of CC5 and CF5 somewhere?

Thanks,
AK

HI AK,

There's coverage of most of the CF features in the FAQs and some basic ones for CC. I simply haven't found the time to get to grips with the details of CCv5 enough to write anything like full docs :-(
