Fields not showing in design view

vampmaster 12 Jun, 2015
I normally use the same contact us form in my sites. I normally go to a form I made in the past and copy the html code to he code section on the new form on the new site. However when I go to the design view it shows only a blank page I can't modify the code in design view.
Never the less the form works pretty nice I would like to see the form in design view to aliviate some spacing. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi vampmaster,

If you use Custom HTML in your forms then the Designer tab will be empty. You can see and edit your HTML on the Code tab.

Hi Bob,

I was having a problem when I created a form from scratch it wasn't loading the captcha at first but then we learned to move the load captcha before the render html on the on load option however in for site a.com I create a form and to avoid having to creat it again I go to the code tab select all an then go to site b.com open chronoforms and new form and in the code section paste the html code form the form from a.com. In strict teory nothing was added or deleted from the coding on site a.com but while I can see the design view in a.com I can't see it in b.com the html is the same just the method of creation was diferent. Is this correct or this is a bug, in past versions if you edited anything on the designer's view it would delete whatever was customized in html code but you could see the form now you can't

Hi vampmaster,

To copy a form to another site use the Backup and Restore icons in the Forms Manager toolbar. That way you will keep all the Designer tab settings (but you will need to recreate and/or reconnect any database tables in DB Read or DB Save actions).
