Hi,

I've made a custom user registration form.... saving the custom data to another table.

When register a new person i get an "Username in use" error. But I do receive the activation email and all user data is added to the joomla users table and my own table for the custom data. So the user has registered just fine, and should not be getting an error message but the success message.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or how to get rid of the error message?

I managed to bypass this error with an event switcher checking if the user id was added.
