Permissions

I need to vent. While I appreciate ChronoForums, I have to say the whole permissions business is confusing and difficult to set up correctly. The minimal documentation does not help. I've searched this forum for help and noticed how many others are having permissions-related problems. I've had to resort to trial and error: re-logging in, flushing browser history, even restarting browsers, to test different user level permissions. I have to do this for each user type for each forum I set up. Not very efficient or effective.
