CEGCore framework required

Resolve CEGCore framework error after uninstalling ChronoForum.

Overview

The error occurs because uninstalling ChronoForum can remove the shared CEGCore framework still needed by other ChronoEngine components like ChronoForms.
Reinstall ChronoForms v5 to restore the framework. If the error persists, check and disable any outdated ChronoEngine modules in the Joomla extensions manager.

Regarding that error message install 'CEGCore framework from www.chronoengine,com' Bob & Max have mentioned elsewhere that the CEGCore framework is installed with Chronoforms v5.

Just FYI - I have just discovered that if you uninstall ChronoForum, then the message appears. If you re-install CF5 then it disappears

Hi Nick,

All three components CF, CC and ChronoForums share the core library. I guess that the uninstaller isn't clever enough to work out that it is still needed by the others :-(

Sounds like it Bob. At least it is an easy fix.

I also get the error message in fronend "Please download the CEGCore framework from www.chronoengine.com then install it using the 'Extensions Manager".
I have reinstalled the component but the message does not disappear, what to do???

Hi Antesan,

In your Joomla admin please go to Extensions > Manage > Manage, then search for "chrono", what do you get in the list ?
