Edit column disappeared

htavares 24 Apr, 2015
Hello, I was trying to edit a form (not with the wizard), and the left column (accordion) disappeared (looking into the HTML it is gone).

screenshot bellow to illustrate this:

I had version 5 of CF and just updated to 5.0.9 and the same problem happens (in Safari 6.1.1 Mac and Chrome 41.0.2272.76 Mac)

How can this be solved?

I cannot give you access it is in my local environment and it is closed to the world…

It is not hidden, as I said, inspecting the HTML it is empty.

Answer
Finally (took me a long time for shuch a "random" thing) I found the reason and a solution.

In my development, the site path had a folder name with square brackets
ex: /Volumes/HD/myfolder/another folder/site name [myref]/site root/)

The solution was to remove/substitute with normal parenthesis and now the column loads the items again…

I can safelly say this is a bug with CF, please look into it.

Some more details: OS X 10.8.5, Latest CF (5.0.9), Joomla 3.3.6, using MAMP 2.1.1 and PHP 5.4.4

Thank you for posting the solution! but I don't think its a good idea to have any special characters in the files paths.
