New topic notification to disabled users

A disabled user belong to a group set to receive notifications of net topics.
He just wrote me that he receives the notifications but he can't access the forum. :?

Disabled users shouldn't receive anything from the forum!

A part from removing the user from that group, is there any other solution?

Yes but I admit that I was reported about receiving the notifications from one of those disabled users. I didn't check it myself. I should have before posting.

I confirm the problem.
I disabled a joomla user and assigned it to a myforum group. In the forum settings the myforum group is one of the selected groups to be notified of new threads.
A new thread was created and the disabled user received the notification.

As a workaround I changed the group assigned to new users (new users were assigned to myforum in the joomla users settings.)
