login swap upon opening form

Hi all,

I was just trying to restrict the display of a link to the creator of the respective entry and came across an odd issue when testing it with a dummy user

logging in as dummy user I can properly see the menu items home / downloads / my v5 connection / profile
but when using the menu item for my form the logged in user swaps from dummy (publisher) to gabriela (super user).

logging in as dummy user directly to the form menu item would make gabriela show up as logged in user right away.

any ideas what could be causing this?
