Designer Empty

Becky.Olson 13 Apr, 2015
I have been trying to create a simple form with some events on a radio button. i.e. if yes, show fieldx else hide. I get it somewhat working and adjust the setting so that the label is also hidden. Upon save, the system either kicks my out to the frontpage and when I go back into the form, all the field in the designer are gone. The only thing left is the code under Code >> Wizard designer >> Form code.

Also, my form is no longer viewable on the front end as well because when this issues happens, it also removes the "On load - HTML (Render Form)" under Setup.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I am missing? I have created the same form multiple times now and wanted to avoid hand-coding everything again.

Thanks,
Becky

Hi Becky,

Did you change any settings under the "Settings" page in Chronoforms5 admin area ?

Thanks for the response. I have not done any setup or changes in the Settings area. The "Emails" tab fields are empty and the Wizards tab settings are "Yes", "0", "20", "Yes"

Any help on this yet?

To give you an update from my end. If I create a simple form, and make sure I have a submit button all goes well. Very carefully I add a container with a group of new elements that have a simple hide/show parent text field event. All goes fine (quick backup form) Then I move back to the setup to create the emails. Add an email action to the form and it explodes again. All the work I did in the designer is gone.

I am now on to searching for other form builders for Joomla since I need to have these forms up and running asap. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Becky,

It looks as though there may be some server security setting that is preventing the form saving correctly. It's hard to tell from the information here. The server logs may give a clue.
