Mailer Error: SMTP connect() failed.

When I send this test form I get the error Mailer Error: SMTP connect() failed.
I have a SMTP set-up and it works since my "Contact us" form from Joomla components works. I receive those emails

I have tried several things to fix this error:
1. Followed all the steps on your video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCqEKeMW3h8
2. enabled and disabled email form
3. added the same email address on 'from" info@mybusinessname.com which is on my Joomlas global email SMTP set-up.
4. added a different email address on "from" me@icloud.com VS Joomlas global config info@mybusinessname.com .
5. left the others info blank.
6. Filled the "to" address" with same email server as "from" aap@mybusinessname.com
7. Filled the "to" address" with different email server as "from" aap@icloud.com

Hi kd9000,

I assume that you are not using the settings from the ChronoForms 'Settings' icon?

If not, then ChronoForms should use the default Joomla! mail settings. I don't know why these would fail :-(

Max has added some SMTP debugging code to the Settings page, I have no idea what the results mean though. Please contact him using the Contact Us menu above and link to this thread.
