Hi
what is the minimal IE version supported by CC5 officially? Investigating issues of missing form control elements found that it works fine IE11 but going backward it's getting worst and worst. With IE8 even I can't edit a CC5 connection in the admin backend.

Hi Béla,
The libraries used (jQuery & Bootstrap3) support IE8 and up, what's exactly not working ?

Hi Max
gdropdown, gmodal, gsliders, gtabs in cegcore/assets/gplugins and app_j.php cegcore/libs has or create incompatible code for IE8. The awesome seems to be an issue, see my other post:

Search for 'ie8 javascript error expected identifier string or number' in Google.

Yes, I use font-awesome, its easy to use and makes things look better.
If its IE8 support vs Font awesome, I would choose font awesome!🙂
And regarding the admin area issues, just don't use IE8 to do any admin changes, use a newer version or Chrome/Firefox
