Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

i am running on a windows server with apache
when I upgrade to chloroforms 5.0.8 I get the following error
"Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function."
every thing works ok with chloroforms 4.

what's different?

the auto reply di not help. i uploaded the site to another server(unix) and everything seemed to work.. i still need the solution to the windows server environment.

I don't have any specific solution for a Windows Server. If I understand CFv5 correctly the Email action will use the Joomla! Settings unless you have specified a server configuration in the Forms Manager Settings tab.

thanks, did not know the settings were there. the problem is solved when i changed to smtp.🤣
