Adding tabs to an existing form

Hello,

I have created a form that I think is too long. From looking at some of the demo forms, I see that I can have tabs which would shorten the form and therefore the page it sits on.

Is it possible to do this? I have a bit of a try but I could only get around 3 fields within a container before it stops me dragging any more fields into the container. Is it possible to do this with an existing form?

Persistence paid off!!

I was trying to drag the fields which did not work very well for me. Using the copy and paste function is a lot better.

Hi lpowlette,

You can use Copy and Paste (then delete the old element) to move items in the Designer tab.

How exactly does it stop you dragging elements? There is no limit normally.

Hi Bob,

After dragging 3 or 4 elements into the container, when I dragged the next element it was always pushed outside of the container. It could well be that my inexperience in using ChronoForms is to blame rather than the system.

Hi Luther,

It's easy to drop them in the wrong place - in the latest versions the 'drop-zone' has a black border round it that makes it easier to see.
