Cannot get demo captcha forms to work

iversona 06 Mar, 2015
Hi

I have enabled joomla plugin and enter the keys.Having failed to get captcha working on my designed form I thought I would try the demos and then learn from them.

However I have tried each and none of them display a captcha image. Currently I am trying demo-nocaptcha on the page http://direct2sandbox.com/trenannick/index.php/cottage-information/cottage-booking-enquiry and as you can see there is just a blank space.

First time I have used chronoform so any help appreciated.

Thanks
Alistair

Hi Alistair,

Your form page shows this error in the JavaScript Console saying that the Google Site Key is missing. You will need to get and add that to get NoCaptcha to work.

Hi

Assuming I am putting them in the right place, the Joomla plugin, then they are there. Please see screendump here

Hi Alisatair,

Hmmmm have you got both Load and Check ReCaptcha actions - the error I saw seemed to refer to NoCaptcha?

I am using the demo form demo-nocaptcha exactly as supplied in the download.

In the setup tab it has a load google nocaptcha and a check google nocaptcha

There was a second form of one on the other demos further down the page (which wasn't working either) so I have disabled it in case it is causing confusion.

I have also unpublished 'jquery easy' in case that is doing anything.

Thanks

Bob, is there any update on this?

Update:

I have added captcha - recaptcha to the options in new user registration and it works perfectly so my plugin and keys must be working.

I have added all 3 of your demo forms to the menu Booking and none of them work.

Having moved from BreezingForms I really would like to get this working but I am now running out of time.

Please advise what I can do to to check or I can give you backend access.

Hi Alistair,

The included "demo-basic-contact-captcha" form should work fine when tested without any changes, you should test it using the "View form" link in the CF admin or using the "Test form" button.

If it doesn't then please send me a PM message with a link to your website.

You have some kind of SEF which is causing this conflict, please go to your SEF extension and configure it to skip Chronoforms5, this should fix the problem!

Thanks, I am using sh404SEF! and having excluding chromeforms in their configuration captcha now works, is there supposed to be any refresh captcha icon on the captcha?

Answer
Hi Alistair,

There's an option in the Load Captcha settings to add a Refresh button.
