hi all,

I am new to CF5 and am having a couple questions regarding handling CF4 vs CF5:

1) since the Multilanguage action is not available any longer how would I set up multi language forms? can I now use a regular language file such as .../language/en-GB/en-GB.com_chronoforms.ini ?

2) I would like to use the DB record loader for a start. but the DB read does not seem to allow for entering DB field (cf_uid) and Request Param (token) or r they merely called differently now?

3) Show html vs HTML (render form). so far I didn't need to edit any of the options (no multipage forms). is this still true?

would there be any tutorial around that would explain the differences by any chance?

Hi chrissy6930,

1. ChronoForms v5 uses entries on the Locales tab in much the same way as the older Multi-Language action. See the Starter Guide here

2. Use the conditions box to set the Conditions for the records you want to load. It's a lot more flexible than the old method. Please check this FAQ.

3. You can leave all the default settings in the HTML (Render Form) action - until you specifically need to change one.
