Text Box field size

Hi all,
I have been working on a custom form which looks great on mobile devices, but desk top looks shocking!

I'm wondering why the text box input fields even on a desktop only shows at 157px wide? Is there any way to make them wider without setting px width and creating a overhang on mobile screens?

Please use your browser Web Developer tools to see exactly what CSS is being applied. It sounds as though your template CSS may be setting the widths.
