Accordion Questions: Panel form demo

CSDweb 22 Jan, 2015
What do I need to do to have the plus (+) and minus (-) signs added/enable with sliders as they are in the accordion demo at http://greyhead.org/index.php?option=com_chronoforms&tmpl=component&chronoform=demo_form_sliders? Also, in the demo the entire accordion slider bar changes colors and is selectable. How can I achieve that effect in mine? Currently, only the title part of mine is selectable. A third question. How do I set the open/closed state of the accordion panels? I would like my form to start up with all of the panels closed.

Hello, have you found how to do all these things you wanted to do with your accordion menu? I need to do exactly the same, specially how to set the panels to be closed by default. Thanks for your help.

No, I haven't been successful in implementing the CSS/code needed to make it happen. For my purposes, it was okay without the +/- and I had to get onto other things.

Hi,

The demo form you linked to was built with CFv4 and is using a MooTools 'Accordion' to build the sliders. CFv5 is no longer using MooTools (Joomla! has dropped it) and the built-in sliders code looks quite different.

Is there a v5 demo/code sample available?

Hi CSDweb,

Not built-in but you can easily make one. Click the Demos icon to install the demo forms if you haven't already got them (do this ONCE only or you get multiple copies). Select demo-tabbed-form and make a copy with the Copy icon. Edit it, change the name, then edit each container and change the Type from the tab type to the same slider type. Save and test.

Thank you. I'll have to give it a try.
