I am working on "Basic form with tabs" editing as I need. I was trying to insert on top of "Container #1 tabs area" another container which can contain the all form, but it doesn't go to that position. Do you may know how to do it?
Thanks for help
Hi marceff,
As far as I know you can't put an existing container into a new container.
What do you actually need to achieve here? There may be another way to do it.
Bob
Hi Bob,
thank you for you attention.
As I wrote in my previous post, I am trying to insert a "container" which contains all the "Basic form with tabs" sample. As I attempt to insert a new container on top of the first one (container/tabs) it just skip back to bottom. I tried to drag it in different way but it seem not possible.

then you'll notice a text which is just below the tabs (descrizione, dati, contatti), I'd like to have tabs right below the text, that's why I want to place a container on top within a custom field where to type html text. Any other solution it will be suitable for me. Thank you for help
Hi Marceff,
To add a container - or any element - at the top drag it into the form parent element where it will appear at the botton. Then use the 'Drag' icon at the top right corner to drag it up to the place you want it.
Bob
Thanks Bob, but this is exactly what it doesn't allow me to do it. As I drag the new container on the top, above of "container tabb" it doesn't stick above it but goes back to the bottom or somewhere inside the "container tabb". I do not know if there is some option to force new container to include others containers, as the only way to do it, as far as I can think, is ti build everything from the beginning...
Hi marceff,
There are two separate steps to this. 1. Drag it in, let it go so that it is at the bottom. 2. Then use the Drag icon to move it.
Bob
Well, as I wrote you, it is what I just do: take container from left menu, then let it go (it takes bottom position), then I point the "drag" icon and I drag it up above the container tabb, then I release it and it goes back to previous position. It seems it doesn't allow you to go over the container tabb as it is a kind of "main container", don't know how to express myself better...
Hi marceff,
It should work OK - from your description I thought that you might have been trying to drag it directly into place.
By all means email or PM me the site URL, the form name, and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob
Ok Bob,
here the access to admin:
[[>> Login info removed <<]]
you will notice "container #27" which should go on top of everything with its content (a custom field 28 which contains text),
so that in front end it has to appear text first then tabs.
Thank you for help
HI Marceff,
Done I think - I had to 'collapse' the other containers to drag the new one up to the top.
Bob
PS I deleted the login info - never a good idea to post that publicly and I suggest that you now change the password - that why we suggest PM or email.
Yeah! That's made it. Now I know the secret...
Thank you Bob
