Hi out there,
when ticking here »Notify me when new posts are made to this topic«, I receive automated messages, which look very unfriendly to my humble opinion. They contain only one phrase:
»To view the message, please use an HTML compatible email viewer!«
In communication, I don't want to be told that I am an outdated fossile who is not able to keep up with modern technology. And to put it even simpler: I don't want to be told by anybody, what to do and what to leave. And I am long enough in business to know that sending a plain text e-mail message is no challenge at all.
I wouldn't even bother, if only the minimum offer would be added to that message: a simple link to the forum.
If all this is not possible, then you should please add a note to the checkbox that e-mails are only available in html.
Thanks for following me until here!
Kind regards,
Herbert
