SPAM need smtp authentication?

compart 28 Nov, 2014
Hello, the email generated from Chornoform are marked as spam.
Is there any option in setting Chornoform to use smtp authentication?

Thanks

Hi compart,

I don't think so, I normaly just set a message to user warning him to the case that the email could go to the spam box.

But if there is a way I'll be glad to know.

Yes, with some systems/providers the headers of the mail generated
by Chronoform were marked as SPAM (rare case but...)

To solve the problem go to:
Joomla -> System -> Global configuration -> Server - Mail -> SMTP Auth (use a real account)

Case closed 😃

Hi compart,

ChronoForms v4 uses the Joomla! mailer so you need to set that up to use SMTP. Though I doubt that is the cause of your problem. What From Email address are you using?

Hi compart,

I already use a real account, the problem is when the from email is some like "no-reply@domain.com".

I don't remember but I think I use a real email, it go to news box, but I want that the "no-reply" mail go to there too, not to span folder.

But, thanks any away😉
