Joomla needs to be updated from v2.5.27 to v3.3.

Checking the ChronoForms downloadsite it shows there is a V4J2.5 module/component/plugin and a V4J3 module/component/plugin.
So apparently the CF V4 for Joomla 2.5 is different from that for Joomla 3.

What should i do when updating Joomla from version 2.5.27 to version 3.3 regarding Chronoforms? Can i leave the existing CF (v4.0 RC3.3) in place? Or should i remove it before updating (and loose my existing form data)?

Make sure that you have a backup of the db tables and the forms for security (use the Backup icon in the Forms Manager Toolbar for the forms).

Upgrade your site, then install the latest release of CV for J3 over the existing CF installation and all should be OK.
