Lost the form-module

tom245 17 Nov, 2014
Hi,
a week ago I made a contact-form and published it, today I did some changes, works fine.
Now I have to change the place of the contact-form on the site, but I cannot find the form in Articles, modules, plugins.
How do I find the form in Joomla in order to change the place of it?
Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom245,

Where do you want to put it?

You can set a ChronoForms Menu item to have it stand alone; or use the ChronoForms Module to put it in a teplae module location; or the ChronoForms plug-in to put it in an article.

Hi,
the form is already installed, works fine. I published it as an article (or in an article?). I found that out by filling all modules around with content. The form is in the article section, which is good.

In the backend article section of Joomla, the article (where the form is) exists, but does not show any Chronoforms content. FIlled in text in article does not show on the site.

Now I copied the form and I tried to save the new form in Setup - Joomla -Joomla article, the button does not respond.

Problem is: Neither Chronoforms nor Joomla backend shows, how the form was installed or where it is. It appears on the site, I can edit it with Chronoforms, the changes can be saved and appear on the website. But I cannot see where the form is (which article) or put it in another article (or module).
What do I wrong?
Regards,
Tom

After filling the modules beside the article with the form, the form on the site does not work anymore. Testform in Chronoforms Works. Will reinstall.

OK,
Chronoforms5 puts the form automaticly (without plugin or module) to the menu and it appears like an article, "overwrites" the original article. In that way, the apearance of the form can be changed, but the functions cannot be changed.
As in my case there were the same names given for menu and article, I did not understand what was happening.

In my ice-future template, the Chronoforms5 component (without plug-in or module) generated the form, I put it under an existing menu-item, and it worked fine and appeared automaticly in the article section of the site. But with editing the modules on the site, the form stopped working.
Used the plug-in, form on the site looks the same, but now it works.
Thanks,
Tom
