Url rewriting and Chronoconnectivity

Canard 14 Nov, 2014
Hi !
I'm working on an existing Joomla 1.5 website. Among the changes I was asked to perform I had enable SEF and Apache rewrite mod. These are working as expected excepted for one specific use case: I have chronoforms and chronoconnectivity installed, the site-wide form (with GET method) allows to select among different missions and displays the selected mission's details using chronoconnectivity. The form first used POST method but I changed the latter in order to be able to manipulate the url. I couldn't manage to have a clean url for this display so I created a hidden menu item with an alias (mission) and redirected to it on submit. To this point everything's ok !
I get this kind of URL (With GET) : /mission?projet=50
(or : /mission if I use POST)

The problem is that I would like to have something like this : /mission/name-of-the-project
I thought I could get the projet param, qury the database to retrieve the project's name and replace it in url.
I tried to write a router.php file for chronoconnectivity but with no success, not sure how to do it, though I read http://docs.joomla.org/Supporting_SEF_URLs_in_your_component...

I must say I'm lost !
I would appreciate any tip to be sure to go to the right direction
Thank you for helping.
