Files put in quarantine for "generic.encoded.unclassed"

How to resolve a CF file being quarantined by a security scanner.

Overview

The problem is that some security scanners incorrectly flag legitimate CF code as suspicious.
Contact your hosting provider to request that they whitelist the specific CF file to restore functionality.

Hi All,

Just found out that my hoster has put the file
/home/account/domains/mydomain.nl/public_html/components/com_chronocontact/chronocontact.html.php

in quarantine and the forms are not working anymore.

Can anybody confirm that this is a problem or is this (again) a false indication.

Grtz

Hi Arkomat,,

Assuming that it is the original file then it is a false indication.

Some versions of ChronoForms included a few lines of valid code that could set off warnings in badly tuned scanners - please ask your host to whitelist the file.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your fast answer. Somehow I expected this.
One more reason to leave this hoster as they won't whitelist the file.
Thanks again.
