Spam despite captcha?

Goodevening,

I used an old version of chronoforms and got lots of spam mails today. Despite the captcha in the form.
I thought maybe the older version was the problem so I deleted thisone and installed the latest V5.

But I still receive spam mails on the new form too.

I had validations on the fields that are ignored (phone, there is an url in it when I receive the form i the mail). And I have captcha in t.

How is this possible and how can I solve this?

Sorry, think the answer is not there, already found that faq.

I had captcha installed, was ok but then I started to get spam mails on the form.

Updated Joomla and Chronoforms to latest.

Didn't help

So made new forms and installed recaptcha but got error "Could not open socket: 110 - Connection timed out" on that one. Read about it in your forum and asked hosting if there's something they could do. But they say it's not a hosting problem... so now I dont' know anymore what to do.... do you have any other ideas?

It's a pity that it's not possible to drag a mail and message out of the check captcha and drag it into the check recaptcha box. No have to make them again if I want to change the anti-spam.

Hi Cortado,

As the FAQ says, neither Captcha nor ReCaptcha will protect you against human spammers - if that is what you are seeing. For those use some selective serverside validation.
