Adding Action to the Load Event Causes Loss of Design

DShapiroNaples 30 Oct, 2014
As I was making edits on a V5 form and then pressed Save Chronoforms deleted most of the design setup and lost the ON LOAD event.

I re-created the event and its events.

Now when I add a Session To Data to the On Load event and hit Save I lose most of my design

I have attached a v5 file backup zip file of the form

Hi DShapiroNaples,

I will need to test this on your server, please send me admin login by PM or on the "Contact us" page.

Some additional information:

I have tried creating another form. When I add an new action into the On Load event and then move it up and Save. The save happens quickly but then I have to wait up to a minute for the "Loading" process. When complete sometimes the design stays and other times (not consistent) I lose some or all of my design elements and I am forced to delete the form and restore from a backup.

The latest form is called MPM_PF_Daily

Hi David,

Please check with your web host if you have suhosin installed or not, this may be the source of the problem, but there is still a solution, but first we need to know if its there or not!

I am having the this problem, too. Chronoforms 5, Joomla 3.3.6. Sometimes the actions disappear, sometimes design elements. What was the solution to this problem in 2006?

Thanks for your help!

Hi sheknowsdesign,

Does your "Settings" page have the "safe save" option enabled ?
