I am trying to set up a category with forums available to specific user groups only.
I have succeded up to a point, but posts in those hidden forums are visible to unauthorised users in lists such as "Unanswered" or "Active". An example url is http://mysite.url/index.php/chrono/forums?list=active
Unauthorised users cannot follow the links to those posts, (an authorisation error occurs, and the appropriate message is displayed), but I want to keep those posts as well as the existance of the relevant forums completely secret.
I wonder if this is possible and I have to keep working with the configuration, or this is something not supported by chronoforums?

Its hard to select topics from forums with specific permissions, the best we can achieve to serve this purpose is to add extra configuration to select which forums should appear in the "Active" list..etc, if this fits you then please let me know!

I have the same problem, I don't want that posts from hidden forums pop up in search results or other lists.
What you suggest probably is not a good way to solve the problem (sorry). I would have to hide from the various lists every hidden forum, so the active button and the global search function would be of no use.
Thank you

Ok, added to the todo list!🙂
