Hello All,
Still trying to get used to ChronoForms, and just when I thought all was going well............ I broke Chronoforms.
I was just putting the finishing touches on my lengthy 4 page AJAX form that interacts with multiple different APIs and both the local DB and an exterrnal DB.
While doing this finishing touches, I set my SAVE DB object which accesses the external database to use "MYSQLI" instead of "MYSQL".
This completely broke my form in the admin side. When I click on my form name in admin componenet, I get a weird white page and the Title says "cannot connect to database". My form still works on the front-end of the website.
I have tried to manually edit the form in the database (cannot, its a jumble of characters), tried a copy, tried backup and restore... Nothing works.
Also tried switching Joomla to use MySQL instead of MySQLI, that didnt help.
Also disabled MYSQLI in PHP, that did not help.
I need to be able to modify my form, I don't want to completely re-create it.
I think I'm going to scrap Chronoforms and going back to manually coding everything if I can't recover this. I never had problems like this when I hacked SQL together 😟 😟 😟
