adding grey text inside of input field

I have seen forms that have grey text that show formatting examples or instructions inside the input box, then the user types their data into the field the text color changes to black.

I know how to enter default text, but that shows up as black text.

How can this be accomplished inside of Chronoforms?

Hi tjhaas,

Yes it can - that's called a PlaceHolder label. The text inputs in CFv5 have a setting where you can enter the text you want to show.
