Hi,

Just started out to try ChronoForums on a site. I noticed that the user profile section is not very extensive, which I think is ok as on this site I already had my users filling out their profiles in the Joomla core user component. However, I was wondering if there cold be some kind of integration, like viewing some of the Joomla core profile fields from within the ChronoForums profile page?

By the way, a few weeks ago I posted this question: https://www.chronoengine.com/forums/posts/f30/t97652/language-issue.html about a language file issue, hope that you'll find the time to help me on that one as well.

Hi Frits,

There is no way at the moment to load extra data from the users profiles table, but there is a setting to change the profile link so that it can point to the Joomla profile or CB profile..etc

Thanks for your reply. I looked in the Board settings, especially on the tab Authors but also on other tabs, yet I could not find the setting that you are referring to. Could you please tell me where I can find it?

Its called "Username link path", under the Authors tab!
