Hi,
I'm new to Joomla. Love Chronoforms! Works great on one of my sites but drives me nuts on the other. My form works great when I use the 'test form' button but not when published on the site. I tried adding it through the menu-item option, by assigning it to the page through the module's options and embedding it using the plugin, modules anywhere and the {loadposition}. I added cutom code, changed SEF-URL option but still no go...I'm beginning to suspect my webhost....I did have it working at some point but then it didn't. Sometimes upon refresh it does work. Sometimes after that, when I browse away an back my thank you messages still shows...
URL to form: http://www.instituto-martina.nl/mobiel/index.php/inschrijve
Any help would be appreciated.
Bas
Hi Bas,
Please try to set the "relative url" to no under the "HTML" action settings!

Max, I have this set to no already....
Thanx Bob,
I'm going to try it but not right away so I'll let you know later.

Hi Bob,
I'm sorry but I don't know how to use the Submit URL setting and how to override the SEF URL or redirect. I've tried deleting all articles, categories and reinstalled everything. I will send a personal message with the login. Could you have a look?
Its never advised to delete everything, or even to reinstall unless there is something broken in the extension itself.
Please try to disable the cache completely, and also the SEF, then try the form again, using the "View form" link in the forms manager.
If you have many 3rd party "System" plugins then please try to disable them if the above doesn't work!
Regards,
Max

Hi Bas,
Please try turning off the System SEF Plug-in temporarily and see if that fixes the problem. I suspect that it may be over-writing the form Action URL when it is loaded into the page. That is the most likely explanation that I can see.
Bob
Hi Bob,
I sent you a private message last week with my login. Could you have a look?

Thnx! Bas
Hi Bas,
No sign of a PM to me :-)
Bob
Hi Bas,
Also no PMs here, did you use the forums PM or the "Contact us" page ?
I suggest that you change the login details since we are not sure who has this info now!

Used the PM
I sent GrayHead another message yesterday but I think I missed the 'failed to send' (due to lack of recipient or subject) warning the first time and closed the browser.

Hi Bas,
I got the login thank you,
I took a look around and I suspect that the problem is because there are <p> tags round the form which is illegal HTML that will break the form in IE (most other browsers manage OK).
I found the Inschriven-form article where there are <p> tags round the Load Position code.
I also suggest that the you use the ChronoForms plug-in instead of load position to remove another possible source of problems.
Bob
Thanx Bob,
I see I've got mail from the site too so I suppose it all works! I'll test it further tomorrow!
AgainTank you!
Bas
