Hi dear,
when I hit the Send button I get the Thank you message. Also I receive the form/email at the email adress I've pointed to. In this email are visible the fields: Name, Subject, email adress. But the message text is empty ... well that is there it says only: IP: 87.209.etc.etc
Hi latihan,
Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here.
Note: if you are using the Easy Wizard you can turn on Debug on the Others tab in CFv4 or the Setup tab in CFv5.

Dear Bob,
I positioned the Debugger on 2 different places: in On Submit / On Succes (see screenprint) and at the very bottom of On Submit (underneath On Fail box). Then send the contactform from the site. In both occasions I don't see a debug text.
I do still receive at the pointed email adress the email/contact form. But with the same result, no text, just this IP adress.

OK, gave it another try, now it worked:
here're screenprints: of email and of text Debug

Hi latihan,
It looks as though your message input is called Bericht: * Spaces and special characters are not allowed in input names - they are OK in the Label box though. Please rename this to say bericht and update the Email template to match.

you were right. That was my error. Thanx.
So the form gets send and is received, including the message text of the sender.
Only still, below this message text, an IP adress is printed also. How come? What do I still need to adjust?
I've attached screenprints. Screenprint of the Debug info is in 3 parts (so 3 screenprints) because I'm sending this from my tablet.

Hi Bob,
I just found under Setup - Advanced ? Edit Action Settings a field where one can enable / disable sending IP adress. I just don't understand the remark which is added there: "
Append the IP address the email's body, you can disable this and use {ip_address} in your template instead."
So what does this mean or what can one do with this?
Anyway when I now sent the form there's no print of the IP adress (as I'v placed it on disable?
Jan
Thank you very much Bob.
warmly,
Jan
