private message recipients field only allow username

Hey!

I've noticed that when I'm trying to send a new private message to someone at the search in the recipients field only search for usernames. Our forum uses the names of our registered users, not the usernames, so the writer of the message have difficulties finding the correct recipient. Is there any way to set the search to use the names instead of usernames?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this now, and I can't provide a quick fix, you can however try to hack the core file yourself for now if this is urgent, the file should be under this path:

/components/com_chronoforums/chronoforums/controllers/messages.php
