Good morning, I have a form and when I type in a failry common french syntax such as

l'artiste

it is validated as an error. The apostrophe forbids... is there a way to avoid this?

What validation settings are you using? If it is alphanum then this will not permit characters except a-z and 0-9

ah yes... indeed alphanum.... which one(s) do I need to use when I need to allow text and numbers?
