Permissions to View and Create

Hi.
I am struggling to get my permissions to work.

I do not want to have the forum viewable to public and I do not want public to create tickets.
but if I set Permissions >> Create New Topics >> Public Denied then no one can create topics.
And if I set Permissions >> Read View Topics >> Public Denied then no one can view topics.

In both cases I have Registered set to Allow.

What am I doing wrong?

Please check the permissions topic in the FAQs, you should not use "Denied", please use "not set"
