Form does not send with new SMTP mail settings on Joomla

Hi,

My website's form worked perfectly on our old smtp mail settings in Joomla that had SMTP authentication on and an SMTP username and password. We recently switched servers and are using a new SMTP host which does not require SMTP authentication, username or password.

However when we updated our mail settings on joomla to reflect our new server, our form no longer worked and it keeps giving back the error: 'The following From Address failed: [my from email address]"

The from address is exactly the same on the joomla mail settings and chronoforms email action settings. None of us can figure out why our forms are not working. Any help would be deeply appreciated!!
