There is a Filter Fields action by Sloan Trasher somewhere here on the forum that I use in my CC. I can't find it right now in the new version of the forums, but try searching for it through the boards - this should do the job.
You can use a form with that action set up as a search filter with dropdowns that nicely filters the CC table results.
