ChronoForms v5 port in url causing problems

brentw 03 Jul, 2014
Hi,
I am having problems with trying to set up my first contact form as a test. I am running a dev site on a separate port and have noticed a few problems. Firstly, the form url appends the port to this url. It ends up looking like this: http://192.168.0.1:88:88/contact-us?chronoform=Contact&event=submit

Secondly, I've used the browser dev tools to change the url manually in the browser and when I am finally able to submit the form, it doesn't carry out the on Submit action.

Thanks.

Hi brentw,

I'm pretty certain that there is nothing in ChronoForms that modifies the URL like that - maybe it's the SEF URL component that is doing that :-( Please try setting Relative URL to No in the HTML (Render form) action.
