CAPTCHA form not case specific

Two questions.
1. is the CAPTCHA able to differentiate between lower and uppercase code entries? I appear to be ale enter anything.
2. Is Chronoforms susceptible to script injection on email / other fields? I have a strange action on one of mine.

1. Yes it will accept either upper or lower case (or mixed) entries.

2. Not as far as I know. What exactly are you seeing? Does this FAQ explain it?
